Time is a ship that never casts anchor – Exhibition opening January 10th in Bærum Kunsthall, Norway

The very first Time is a ship that never casts anchor exhibition opens in Bærum Kunsthall in Norway in just one week, and we are excited to share portraits, behind the scenes images, text and fragments of wearable sculptures from our adventures across the borderless Barents region!

This is the first gallery show of the series and includes portraits of female Sami reindeer herders, detonation workers, midwifes, wrestling coaches, taxi drivers and local peace workers amongst others.

Welcome to the opening next Thursday at 6 pm!

Exhibition period: 10th Jan – 3rd Feb 2019
Artist talk and finissage: Sunday 3rd Feb at 2 pm.

A big thank you to the Association of Art Centres in Norway, Kulturbyrået Mesén and Norsk-finsk Kulturfond for their generous support and to Harald Gaski for lending us the title from his book of Sami proberbs, Tiden er et skip som ikke kaster anker.
